How the Chemical Collection Is Curated
Many distributors stock chemicals by volume: whatever moves, whatever fills a warehouse. The Curated Chemical Collection is built around the reagents, solvents, acids, bases, stains, indicators, and prepared solutions that teachers, lab managers, researchers, and procurement teams ask for most.
That means the chemicals used in general and advanced chemistry labs, microbiology staining, titrations, pH calibration, dissection prep, and the everyday reactions that keep teaching and research labs running. What you will not find is filler: obscure items that sit on a shelf for years, or the same product listed five times under different vendors.

Chemicals come with shipping and handling requirements. Here is what to know before you order.
Hazardous Chemicals
Chemicals classified as hazardous materials ship by FedEx Ground or UPS Ground to the contiguous US only. They are not eligible for free or expedited shipping, and hazmat fees may apply. Options and rates appear at checkout. See Hazardous Materials Shipping for details.
Export Restrictions
Some chemicals cannot ship outside the US, and international orders may require additional documentation.
Returns
Opened or unsealed chemicals cannot be returned, for safety and chain-of-custody reasons. See Returns and Refunds.

Safety Data Sheets for chemicals sold by The Lab Stockroom are available on product pages or by request. Email service@thelabstockroom.com with the product name to request an SDS.
Can Chemicals Ship With Free or Expedited Shipping?
Chemicals classified as hazardous materials ship from The Lab Stockroom by FedEx Ground or UPS Ground to the contiguous US only, and are not eligible for free or expedited shipping. Non-hazardous chemicals follow the standard shipping options shown at checkout.
Can Opened Chemicals Be Returned?
No. The Lab Stockroom does not accept returns of opened or unsealed chemical products, for safety and chain-of-custody reasons.
