Shipping Policy and Delivery Times

The Lab Stockroom ships lab supplies from Honeoye Falls, NY, via UPS, USPS, and FedEx to customers across the US and internationally. In-stock orders ship same or next business day, and qualifying orders over $100 to the contiguous US ship free.

US Shipping Times and Carriers

Orders placed before 1:00 PM ET on a business day generally ship the same day, and in-stock orders ship within one business day. Orders placed after 1:00 PM ET on Friday ship the following Monday.

Standard Shipping, delivered in 2 to 7 business days, is a flat rate based on order total within the contiguous US:

Expedited shipping is available through UPS and USPS, and FedEx Ground is also offered, all at rates calculated at checkout. Expedited orders are prioritized so they leave the warehouse as quickly as possible.

Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and APO/FPO addresses ship via USPS or UPS at rates calculated at checkout.

Free Shipping on Orders Over $100

Free Economy Shipping, delivered in 5 to 10 business days, is available on qualifying orders over $100 shipping to the contiguous US (the lower 48 states and Washington, DC). Most items qualify automatically. The following ship at calculated rates, even in an order over $100:

Business Account orders are not eligible for free shipping. Shipping on Business Account orders is charged at 6% of the net order total.

All shipping costs are shown at checkout before you complete your order.

Hazardous Materials Shipping

Some chemicals, solvents, and reagents are classified as hazardous materials and require special shipping procedures. When an order includes a hazmat item, the available shipping options and rates appear at checkout once the shipping address is entered.

Hazmat items ship only to addresses in the contiguous US, by FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. They cannot ship by air or expedited service, or to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations. If your order includes a hazmat item, only ground options appear at checkout for the whole order.

Hazmat items ship at calculated rates that reflect carrier requirements and any hazardous materials surcharges, and they are not eligible for free shipping. If you are unsure whether a product requires hazmat shipping, contact us before ordering.

International, Local, and Build-to-Order Shipping

What Is the Same-Day Shipping Cutoff?

Orders placed with The Lab Stockroom before 1:00 PM ET on a business day generally ship the same day. Orders placed after 1:00 PM ET on Friday ship the following Monday.

What Shipping Carriers Does The Lab Stockroom Use?

The Lab Stockroom ships US orders via UPS, USPS, and FedEx Ground, with expedited options through UPS and USPS. International orders ship via USPS, FedEx, or UPS depending on the destination. Hazardous materials ship by FedEx Ground or UPS Ground only.

Does The Lab Stockroom Offer Free Shipping?

Yes. The Lab Stockroom offers Free Economy Shipping, delivered in 5 to 10 business days, on qualifying orders over $100 shipping to the contiguous US. Hazardous materials, ground-only chemicals, select oversized and carrier-restricted items, expedited shipping, Business Account orders, and orders to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, APO/FPO addresses, and international destinations are excluded.

How Is Shipping Charged on Business Account Orders?

Shipping on Business Account orders from The Lab Stockroom is charged at 6% of the net order total, and the free shipping offer does not apply. The shipping charge is shown before the order is placed.

How Do I Know If an Item Has Special Shipping Requirements?

Does The Lab Stockroom Ship to APO and FPO Addresses?

Yes. APO and FPO orders from The Lab Stockroom ship via USPS at rates calculated at checkout. Free shipping does not apply, and hazardous materials cannot ship to APO or FPO addresses.

Will I Receive Tracking Information?

Yes. The Lab Stockroom sends a shipping confirmation email with tracking information when your order ships.

What If My Order Arrives Damaged?
