Product Description

This wave form helix is a scientific version of the classic coiled novelty spring, engineered with a higher spring constant for measuring wave functions and demonstrating physics concepts including potential and kinetic energy, Hooke's Law, and energy of motion. When closed, the helix measures 4 inches in height and 3 inches in diameter. It stretches up to 3 meters in length.

The helix can be used as a scientific instrument for wave function demonstrations or sent down a set of stairs for a visual display of wave propagation and energy transfer. Suitable for physics classrooms and general science instruction.
