This wave form helix is a scientific version of the classic coiled novelty spring, engineered with a higher spring constant for measuring wave functions and demonstrating physics concepts including potential and kinetic energy, Hooke's Law, and energy of motion. When closed, the helix measures 4 inches in height and 3 inches in diameter. It stretches up to 3 meters in length.
