## Product Description

This 4-piece metal cylinder set includes aluminum, zinc, copper, and steel cylinders, each measuring 1.5" (38mm) in length and 0.4" (10mm) in diameter. The identical dimensions across four different metals allow students to isolate the effect of material density by controlling for volume.

The set is designed for density investigation, specific gravity, and specific heat experiments. Students can measure the mass of each cylinder and calculate density, compare specific gravities, or perform calorimetry experiments to determine specific heat capacities. Part of the Eisco Labs Density Investigation series.
