## Product Description

This kit provides materials to complete a diffusion and cell-size investigation twice, using simulated cells created from agar blocks of different sizes. Students compare how far a substance diffuses into each size of simulated cell during a fixed time period to relate cell dimensions to exchange efficiency.

An indicator incorporated into the agar models makes the extent of diffusion directly visible for comparison across cell sizes. The kit includes an Instruction Manual with the procedure and guidance for setup, measurement, comparison, and interpretation.
