## Product Description

This potassium iodide starch test paper detects total available chlorine, free iodine, and peroxides in water through a visible color reaction, turning from blue to purple as the target compound reacts with the strip. Detection begins at 5 ppm, with upper measurement ranges of 400-450 ppm for chlorine and peroxides and 50-100 ppm for iodine.

Chlorine and peroxides produce an immediate color response, while iodine develops over approximately 60 seconds. To use the strip, dip it into the solution, remove and blot when possible, then observe the resulting color change. The paper is suited to testing chlorine, iodine, and peroxide levels in sanitization and general disinfection solutions, and each vial contains 100 test strips.
